With years of experience behind some of the country's best deli counters (Zabar's, Gourmet Garage and Dean & DeLuca in New York, and more recently our own Metropolitan Market), you can be certain that Evan Handler, co-owner of West Seattle's Eats Market Café, is a guy who knows how to make a sandwich. He even makes his own meats, to go on classics like the Market Reuben with corned beef, sauerkraut, melted Swiss and Russian dressing, and the hot Market Pastrami, with spicy brown mustard and rye. He brings the best of the East Coast to Seattle -- and hearing his meaty New York accent makes those sammies taste even better.
