Wednesday TV Picks: ‘Off Pitch’ on VH1

TV picks for Wednesday, April 24, 2013, include the new “Off Pitch” on VH1, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” on NBC and “How to Live with Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life)” on ABC.


‘Off Pitch’

A cute little half-hour reality show that follows the Grand River Singers, a “Glee-inspired, competitively auditioned community performance group” from La Crosse, Wis. The group is full of all sorts of show-choir types, and the 30-minute running time feels just right. 10 p.m. Wednesday on VH1 (

“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” 9 p.m. (NBC): As the SVU detectives investigate the alleged rape of a sorority pledge, drunken students and conflicting accounts complicate matters.

“How to Live with Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life),” 9:31 p.m. (ABC): In an attempt to deal with her parents’ divorce, Natalie creates an imaginary bully; Elaine makes Max visit an elderly relative.

“Duck Dynasty,” 10 p.m. (A&E): Willie takes the entire clan on a trip to Hawaii to reward them for their hard work, but soon learns that his family members would rather do their own activities than follow his carefully prepared vacation itinerary.

“Supernatural,” 9 p.m. (CW): Dean asks Sam to stop hunting until he recovers from the second trial; when a hacker (Felicia Day) stumbles upon a case, Dean teaches her how to be a hunter.
