PORTLAND — Sylvia Shephard had career highs of 23 points and 13 rebounds as Seattle University's women's basketball team won its third straight road game, 90-79, Thursday night over Portland State.

Shephard, a sophomore, hit 6 of 9 shots, including 3 of 4 three-point attempts. Elle Kerfoot added four three-pointers and scored 17, becoming the 11th player in program history with 1,000 career points for the Redhawks (14-9).
